With the launch of the Torque Drift 2 cinematic trailer we are super excited to be able to announce our involvement with Torque Drift 2, the official and only blockchain game of Formula Drift
Animoca Brands, a company that promotes digital property rights in gaming and the metaverse, and Grease Monkey Games have announced a North American and Japanese industry partnership and collaboration with Formula DRIFT. The result of this partnership will be the release of Torque Drift 2, a new blockchain motorsport game. We’ve loved working with Grease Monkey Games over the years and now that they have been acquired by Animoca Brands it becomes an even more formidable powerhouse. We’ve been writing music and created sound design for Torque Drift 2 for a while now and the music has been written in collaboration with lots of different artists. Whilst all the music and sound design is done here at samplify we are loving what we have helped create which we think will be a diverse and modern soundtrack. We are also now working with Pole Position in Sweden to utilise their expertise in sound design implementation to ensure we get a complete and music and audio sound track. We really want to create something that garners as much attention as our latest work has including BAFTA and Golden Joystick Award nominations and of course the usual quotes our soundtracks get from the press.
With Torque Drift 2 being a PC and Console AAA title we are not taking anything for granted and really hope t0 share more very soon! In the meantime here is the launch trailer for Torque Drift 2 featuring all music and sound design from samplify.
